The Building Enclosure Council of Kansas City is pleased to announce our next half-day session on Wednesday October 18th.  We will be gathering at 7am with the presentation starting shortly afterwards at 7:30am.  This session will serve as our 2023 half-day session.   

Please note that the session location will be at the Center for Architecture & Design at 1801 McGee St, Suite 100, KCMO 64108.

Our guest speakers will be John Straube, PhD. From RDH Building Science and Allison Bailes, PhD. of Energy Vanguard.  

** This presentation is eligible for (6) HSW CEU credits.  (pending AIA approval)

The session will focus on Climate Zone Four Design Considerations

Topics Include

• Low Slope Roof Air Barrier System and Assemblies
• Exterior Wall Assemblies – Air, Water and Insulation Systems
• Mechanical System Design for a mixed-humid climate
• Ventilation, Dehumidification, Relative Humidity
