About Hermanos Design:

Hermanos Design is an award-winning architecture and design/build studio founded in 2015 and based in Kansas City, Missouri, specializing in the fusion of construction knowledge with design philosophy. Hermanos believes client relationships are built on trust and accelerate the design process. The firm’s project experience centers around adaptive reuse, modern insertions, commercial interior environments, boutique parking structures, and high-end residential design.

Hermanos Design is composed of 5 design professionals and 1 Site Superintendent. Each member is exposed to a variety of experiences both in design and on construction sites, enhancing and nurturing their expertise.

About The Project:

The Spotlight AR 108 office blends existing concrete and masonry structure with modern insertions. Metal and walnut are utilized throughout to elevate the existing building elements. Hermanos Design took a building that lacked in connectivity and introduced moments that unified the first and second floors. The third floor became an open lounge to gather and take in views of the crossroads.
